Well, if you are not a programmer, then you need to hire one at Elance or RentaCoder ( now called vWorker.com) and pay them to create those applications for you. However, if you ARE a programmer, the world is yours :)

You identify a need that needs to be filled, or create one.
And simply give the consumer what they think they want.

@wiz, what is the best way for a programmer to reach out his creations to the world.
I mean although am doing well nowadays, but initially I did a lot of struggle and had to work as a cheap freelancer in those sites.

Do you suggest any roadmap on what should programmers do to make good money?

Any secret path you would like to share with fellow BHWers.

All I can suggest is that you join the freelance sites and offer your services. Also, you can create "lite" versions of your applications and give them away on forums and download sites to generate interest in buying the "full" version. Another possibility is if you are creating apps that help get more traffic or automate certain processes, you can approach some of the IM Gurus and see if they want to JV with you, since they have a large email subscriber list to market to. Be sure to have them sign a non-disclosure agreement before showing anything to them though.

    Hi Wiz,
To be honest, freelancing on freelance sites wont lead you anywhere when it comes to making good money. Its over crowded with cheap programmers and buyers also look to work with cheap providers rather than quality people.

I think this JV idea is good, any forums where these IM gurus hangout? I know about Warrior. Any other forum which am missing?
