    Hi,

    I've got some new minisites and I'd like to get them indexed very fast. I have a good PR4 site (soon PR5) which is absolutely not linked to the minisites. Is it possible to use the PR4 site to link to the ministe without anyone noticing it but still getting the juice from Google?

    Thanks

    Thanks, I will look at this. BTW, is this legal or is there any risk that I may jeopardize my good site's PR4?

    And do you know any specific post on the cloaking forum that might help me getting started?

    Thanks

    Just be careful while using these kinds of hidden stuff.If you want to use these methods,mix it with other natural link building methods

    Hmm.. Any practical example? I had a look in the cloaking section, but didn't find what I was looking for.

    My main PR4 site has over 600 pages and tons of links, so I guess it would be safe to put there and there 10-15 links, but I'm not sure how to do this. I'm still a newbie, unfortunately! :)

    Is this script legal? I mean: can Google ban or sandbox my PR4 site because of this? And can my readers see anything about it?

    Thanks

    This is much more secure and will show to all the common robots.

    Code:
    <?php if(preg_match('/robo|bot|crawl|spider|slurp|scooter/i',$_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'])){ ?>

    <div>
    <a href="http://www.example.org/">Example Link 1</a> <br />
    <a href="http://www.example.org/">Example Link 2</a> <br />
    <a href="http://www.example.org/">Example Link 3</a> <br />
    <a href="http://www.example.org/">Example Link 4</a>
    </div>

    <?php } ?>
    You can't really rely on javascript for this type of thing because visitors with javascript disabled will see the links.

    The safest way is to do ip cloaking. Most people do not risk their main site by cloaking it. Be very careful.

    A very good way is this:
    .htaccess Code
    Code:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule tracking_pixel.jpg hxxp://3w.web.com [R,L]

    Code:
    <img src="tracking_pixel.jpg" />
    Or:
    .htaccess Code
    Code:
    <Files tracking_pixel.jpg>
    ForceType application/x-httpd-php
    </Files>

    tracking_pixel.jpg code:
    Code:
    <?
    if(!$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']){
     header("HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found");
    } else {
     header("Location: hxxp://3w.web.com/");
    }
    ?>
    Code:
    <img src="tracking_pixel.jpg" />
    with mysql:
    .htaccess Code
    Code:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^track_([0-9]+)\.jpg$ web.php?id=$1 [R,L]
    web.php code:
    Code:
    <?
     $_SQL = @mysql_query("select * from aff where id='".$_GET['id']."'");
     $_ROW = @mysql_fetch_array($_SQL)
     header("Location: ".$_ROW['url']);
    }
    ?>
    track_*.jpg
    Code:
    <img src="track_1.jpg"/>
    <img src="track_1.jpg"/>
    Example :D
    Code:
    <?
     $_SQL = @mysql_query("select * from aff where 1");
     while($_ROW = @mysql_fetch_array($_SQL)){
       echo '<img src="track_'.$_ROW['id'].'.jpg"/ width="-1" height="-1">';
     }
    ?>

    I hope that will help you a lot ;) Greetings!

    If the minisites are linked together, you should be able to send out 1 or 2 links without loosing any PR or anything. You can alter the style and put them in your footer for a little bit, or write a quickie post to contain them. Submit your RSS feed @ howiespinger (user/pass is guest/guest) once this is done and they should be indexed in a day or 2 (G search site:minisitedomain.com).

    If you really don't want to send the links and the minisites have RSS feeds then just submit them to the pinger as above and it should still work. If they don't have RSS feeds, that's ok too.

    Setup a throwaway blog somewhere (wordpress, vox, blogspot, etc) and put up a few quickly written posts. Try and do 1 post for each minisite on the same topic as the mini site. You'll link to it in the post of course. Submit the throwaway blogs RSS feed to howiespinger and in a couple days, all the minisites should be showing up in the index. It seems like a lot of work I know, but really you should be able to set the blog up (and write the posts) in an hour or 2 tops. This will let you get the minisites indexed without leaving footprints to your main site.

    Don't try to link multiple mini sites each other in a same ip address for PR.Google will just detect these types of site as spam and they just remove the whole network of blog.So,it is advisable that if you want your mini site to link each other,just use different ip for all your minisites.

    Google will detect that they are the same color as the background and your site will get penalized.

    They won't really penalize it just for linking out. Assuming that the sites you're linking to aren't spammy junk. If they are legit & decent, you don't have anything to worry about really.

    Hmmm... Thanks for the replies! But are those tricks actually safe for my PR4 site?
