Does anyone know how to make auto thumb pictures show up on the front page of a blog with wp-o-matic, automatically? I have never been able to figure this one out. The only way seem to be manually going into each post and choosing the correct excerpt. There has to be a way around this. Plugin maybe? I have tried ALL the excerpt picture wp plugins with no luck, because the just float the image over were the thumb pic should be. How can I make this work? Any help would do wonders for me. As I am sure many others are having these problems.

    Using the tiny news theme.

I wouldn't worry about thumbnails. Download a plugin called "Get the image" used to find a image in the post to use on your home page to make it look nice.

I tried dealing with resizing (timthumb and others) and stuff but in the end it looks ugly and unprofessional most the time so just use get the image plugin...

Also change the default cache path in wp-o-matic so you dont see the wp-o-matic folder name in the image path. You need to modify your wp-o-matic code for this

you out that tag where you want your image to display... so your homepage, single page, etc...

Plus you have to pass it parameters to get it working. You have to tell it if you want it to grab the first image it finds or url of a custom field, etc... Examples are in the readme file...
