how to make an exisiting domain private on G 0 daddy?

    i follow there instructions how to update and make it private and the "privacy"button doesnt exisit anymore. i have left numerous support tickets and no reply. there support realy sucks.

    if anyone could point me how to do it would be great. thanks

    Just call customer service and tell them you need to add ' privacy ' to the domain and they will do it for you for a very small fee, as it is an additional fee service option. They will do it for you without question. Have your account info onhand and at the ready.

    If your domain is a .us (and a few others) you're not allowed to have privacy on it by ICANN rules. That's likely to be your problem.

    Also remember that even if you add privacy now, many companies will have still retained the real info that was on it before you added privacy and will show it to people who pay a fee. Be careful out there...
