you want to display on a website what you are watching on tv? interesting.

well, best thing i can figure is if you have a tv output, you an wire it up to a video card and pull it into the computer, and grab a still image every so often. if this is on a remote server, you'd then have to upload the new image to the server (think scp with keys setup to get around the manual password entry issues).

depending on how you input to the tv, you might be able to T into it and send it directly to the computer as well. depends entirely on the source really.

doable, but it's a little bit of work, something to factor in.

You would have to capture the feed, upload it to a server and serve the feed from there. Seems like a fair amount of trouble, not to mention bandwidth on your personal pc and you would probably eat through your servers bandwidth by constantly uploading and downloading..

    Look into WebCamXP

It will stream a TV card to a website.

you can then pull the flash.swf file and pull that to a public website.

Please keep in mind though that if you have 2 or more viwers the quality will suck.

What you need to do is stream the feed to a server, then have the SERVER REstream the content to your viewers. your home internet connection wont be able to support a good streem to more than one viewer.

If you have a good server in a good datacenter, they will run a TV line to your server if you pay for it.

I have done this in the past, had the datacenter run a TV line directly to my server, then installed a TV card in the server then stream it out to the net. works nicely

    hope this helps a bit

    Cheers

you can use windows media center to capture the tv file to disc
then upload it to your server

How can you make money from this ?
