    Hi Guys,

i have always created the simple - Text driven Sales threads in the past 5 years ... But as you all see now days all the Sales threads have a lot of pictures and are basically a big image that is posted on the thread.

Is their a software for creating such sales pages ? Comparison tables between two packages ... etc.

About to launch a new service and thought that will give this new way a try...

    Please advice

While the trend of big flashy full image sales threads are nice to look at (sometimes; many of them are bad), they offer zero content and negate the ability to draw in any sort of organic traffic from the search engines. In my opinion, a sales thread can look just as good with a properly text formatted post and images used sparingly, while offering an actual piece of information that can rank for particular keywords in your niche. The pure image threads go against everything you learn here about SEO.

A good mix of text and images. It serves the both purposes - attractive forum visibility and organic search engine visibility.

    Hi Anuj291,

I just checked BST and there are many design services. Here are just 2 of them, in which I'm no way affiliate/related. Just picked them randomly :

    Code:
    [URL]http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/buy-sell-services/420282-blackzonestudio-you-deserve-get-our-best-designing-service-reasonable-rates.html[/URL]
    Code:
    [URL]http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/buy-sell-services/451032-design-service-sales-threads-banners-business-cards-logos-video-flyers.html[/URL]
But it is good to follow the advice above, it is better not to use the whole image. Image and text is much better.

    Hope that helps

    Cheers
    Petko

Well, there are many talented designers and most of these graphics are custom made. If you look around the services area you will find providers who offer such design services too.

I believe the OP was referring to a sales thread on BHW.

As was I, Shadedream. The BST forums are indexed and spidered by the search engines, providing the potential for some great organic search traffic to your sales copy.

That's true, BHW threads are indexed within minutes so I'd imagine that with the right keywords, they can definitely bring in some organic traffic.

People create picture sale page because it prevent copy paste salepage ripper.
You can do the traditional text sale page just fine.

As opposed to saving an image and modifying it to suit your needs? The reason people create flashy image sales copy is the assumption they will convert customers better. While in some cases they may, it still falls out of place with conventional SEO practices. How many potential customers are not finding your sales copy just to squeeze out an extra % of conversion from your single source of traffic (In this case existing members of BlackHatWorld)?

yaa.. the forums actually index much sooner than your website will !!

I can realte to this .. i have had many copy cat sellers initially !!

I think the main reason is to stand out against competition + Flashy threads have big bold fonts that are more readable and quick to glance through for a customer as compared to reading the entire thing...

Images create more visual impact than a text thread would ...

You won't believe how easy it is to create an image sale thread.

If you have a text sale page, I can convert it to image for you in less than 20 minutes (for $10)

As for modify, of course they keep a text backup.

I don't like that whole sales images. Also many types of cartoons are just horrible to look at. The best is mix of both - text and images.
