This Technique May Look Noobish But This Is My First Technique And It Works

Method:
1 - Go To Youtube and search for "club penguin Member" ull find a lot of videos.

2 - Take One Of Those Videos And Do A Little Editing With Movie Editing
Software.put the player name at starting of video [U Can Get The
Name From Video U Took From] and then add "Giving Away Member
Account Which Is Very Rare" and then put the video showing all items
in that CP account and At The End Of That Video "Giving This Rare
Member Account To My 50th Subscriber for link given in description"

3 - Finally upload The Video To Youtube And Put Ur Affliate Link In Youtube
Video Description.And U Need To Wait.

4 - This Method Is Not Very Fast Method.

The Main Thing In This Trick Is That Many People Are interested In Playing Club Penguin and many people like rare accounts and they often search in youtube about member accounts and they do watever they can do for those accounts.When u put that ur giving that account to ur 50th subscriber.No one except you know who is the 50th subscriber thats all.

This is interesting. I for one had no idea what the hell Club Penguin even is.

Thought I'd take a crack at some noobish SEO/Keyword research.

Went to youtube, checked it out. Top channel is CP cheats by a kid mike92.

He has a wordpress hosted blog with 1,917,892 hits (Since March 2007). All his youtube videos are at least xx,xxx hits, many are 6 digits.

He quit his blog because he can't put adds on his WP hosted blog. All work, no pay.

Google search for club penguin cheats and club penguin secrets shows some pretty beatable pages. Top site is PR 4, no authority sites, best result has like 8k Y! links, very low internal and external links. Adwords puts volume for club penguin cheats at 650k a month, but super low ad competition. .05 CPC. Adsense relevant ads that come up on searches are all for general game cheats sites, not CP specific. Only two or three campaigns.

Anyway, I had a fun time practicing. Anybody care to weigh in on the research or the niche?

Oh and didn't mean to hijack the thread. Good idea. And at the very least thanks for the inspiration to play SEO detective.

i tried a method with club penguin 12 months back. Did ppc. There was a bot going about which costed $20 or so. Now the people who play this game are kids so they dont have money so i let them do me an offer and then obviously didn;t give them what they wanted As you can imagine and as you can see "club penguin cheats" and bot is highly searched, or was!

I eventually got a great idea from this share. What if I could do a lame video on a newly launched internet marketing product and say that "How to get XXX product for free"...then redirect them to a CPA offer promising them to offer the free software / ebook on completion of offer.....although at the end I will break the promise

However, I appreciate the share from OP....

Actually graphicnut's PPC experience - and the fact that we're all talking about penguins- makes me want to turn this into a full-blown case study - which. of course I'm doing instead of actually making any money, the disease that inflicts so many...if I were implementing the OP's method instead of blathering, I'd probably be doing a lot better.

About the bot. A lot of the info I've seen- since this afternoon, when I first heard of Club Penguin - involves a lot of people looking to game the system (not as much as big MMO's with gold/account selling). But they want to exploit game glitches.Those people would love a bot.

But assuming you did everything right with your campaign, we can say the bots didn't convert because it was kids without credit cards who wanted them. And maybe convincing mom and dad to whip out the plastic for a "bot I need to install on our computer" didn't work that great.

But maybe it would be possible to make a product kids could get their parents to buy for/with them. Make a rewrite/edit/remix of best posts/videos/info out there. The infamous mashup ebook.

It might actually be a good product that makes everyone happy. Kid's happy cause they got all the secrets (and cheats) in one handy dandy little reference (what, they should have to scrape all that content themselves?!). Parents are happy cause their kid's all "hey look ma, I figured out how to get that super secret viking penguin outfit from that ebook you got me!"

PPC the shit out of it with good keywords. Since there's no competition and the current top keyword results for CP cheats and secrets are blogs that are monetizing with Adsense, you could probably get a lot of clicks. If your landing page was good, and the price was right, you might sell a lot. If not, you end up wasting at most $20 a day on your campaign (not at all likely to cost this much - and you get free Adwords credit with a lot of new hosting accounts-and can usually buy accounts for about 15-25% of value right here on BHW).

For organic traffic you could probably remix some of the content a little more and distribute to the usual ACsquidhubzine action. You could use whatever traffic/backlinking methods you felt were appropriate - blogs, submitter programs, social networking, etc. Since the top sites currently found in this niche are not too overwhelming, you could probably get up there pretty quickly.

I haven't done anything like this myself yet. The niche might be terrible - and you might get no conversions if your product sucks. But I think the niche research / method development ideas are sound - they are after all my class notes from my last few month's education here. Feedback, of course, is always appreciated.

Anyway - please let's never stop talking about penguins.

Im thinking mobile payments MAY work as most kids have mobiles and its easy just to rob your parents mobile and send a text haha

Looking over the whole thing again, getting involved with a Disney kid's game is just ludicrous, no matter how awesome Penguins themselves may be.

The only reason I thought of it, is because I thought it was kind of crazy seeing the amount of rabid fans out there for something I'd never heard of.

And I definitely knew people that figured out ways at various points to make money with MMO's.

Long story short, there's probably a reason that it's not an area a lot of people are doing anything with - even though it's popular - because there's no real money to be made.

Except I suppose for ideas that have been posted here baiting people for signups/submits with known wanted items/bots/accounts.

actually i posted this technique becoz those disney people dont giv all the people the permission for using good items and for every thing they keep on asking be a member in club penguin and 1 more thing is that i saw many big people playing this game not only Kids lol...

My daughter (6 years old) plays club penguin all the time. It's about $6.00 per month for a membership. Some of the games are actually kind of addicting!
