These guys could not give 2 shits about Hacked coming out and writing this latest gem about them: https://hacked.com/breaking-ico-analysis-eros-vision-scam/

*EDIT* you dont have to read the Hacked article, just pointing out that Eros.vision got called out by a "reputable" source

Or when you type in "Eros.vision scam" there's pages full of reddit posts and blogs about your "failing" ICO.

This one clearly outlines why they fucked up: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6l73xk/alert_erosvision_ico_is_a_scam/

Basically Eroscoin stole the whitepapers from BEAVER, just plain plagiarism and that's a pretty big no no in the crypto world.

Their website? Looks like shit. They've been "listed" on an exchange that can't even link properly to their own social media sites (or anything for that matter), their site glitches out and I think they're honestly bluffing the numbers. Most likely they only made HALF or a fraction of what they're advertising, but even if they made only TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.. you do realize that they made this while going full retard mode?

Their SEO is horrible. Their social media marketing? Nonexistant. Their bought accounts for bitcointalk? Missing. What the fuck.

If you're going to make a scam ICO, at least do it right (Not that I recommend you to.. but I know msot of you are greedy and lazy, so you'll still probably take a gander at these 2 links):

    https://steemit.com/scam/@moonjelly/how-to-create-an-ico-scam-in-5-simple-steps
    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1530158.0

You'd need to know what you're doing with the blockchain which 99% of you wouldn't even bother to learn that or coding, but heyy... at least learn from Eros. EVEN IF you're crap, you can make some money. And don't believe me?

Maybe check out USELESS Ethereum Token. They made some money too. And a lot of it..

We all know there are some people who do this, use other people's work...
And, I guess this is a real example. I don't really like that, not into it, personally.

What a surprise. Shady, unorganized shit-piles scattered amongst the unstable, inflated fake money industry. Who would have guessed?

OP, Hacked is telling me to pay $39 to read the rest of that article.

Idk what I did wrong but no thanks.

So can you give us another source please? I want to know how this ties into prostitution. Googling it is getting me a bunch of noise and craziness about Eros the god.

    Oh and this:

    http://bitcoinist.com/eros-openbazaar-sex-backpage-ico/

Which is 7 days old and not exactly reliable.

Oh you don't have to read the Hacked article, I'm just pointing out that a "reputable" source is calling them out to be a scam. So it literally couldn't get any worse other than maybe celebrities calling it out as a scam lol.. It's like the entire SEO is destroyed. Constant feed of people calling it out.

Basically Eros is saying you'll be able to use this coin to purchase escort services easier. Although technically if it's illegal anyways, then you purchasing using the coin is another charge if you'd get caught. It's similar to why MMJ companies are interested in PotCoin and Dopecoin. All related to money laundering and the legality gray area issues

I'm not into crypto so all this stuff is news to me.

So these coins were "invented" as currency to purchase illegal products/services?

I hope no one here invested.

I assume they ran off with the money.

Well an ICO is basically an initial coin offering for new cryptocurrencies. People invested a bunch of money into ICO's and most flopped. Right now is basically like a dot-com bubble but for ICO's.. the thing is NOT ALL ICOS ARE BAD! There's just a lot of shitcoins coming out though making them look bad. Like with this it's like they didnt even try. The marketing is so bad??

Well they capitalized on a basic human need: sex. They really didn't have to try. Even if no one was going to use those coins, the investors were banking on it hitting it big. Why wouldn't it? Sex is a trillion-dollar industry.

So yeah. It was just bad all around. A little bit of research would have solved this problem but just like with the dot-com bubble, we're seeing people investing out of greed, ignorance and stupidity. They're just hoping one investment will make them rich so they will throw money at everything at this point.

But thanks for clearing that up for me.

Do your do diligence when investing in an ICO. Its no different than a scam penny stock. The concept is the same just one is easier to manipulate.
