This is for those who complain about not making any money online... :D

---

An Australian man wrote "The" on a scrap of paper and put it up for auction on eBay, as a "nonfiction book" item. Amazingly, bidding has reached $18,000. AUS (about $16,500. USD).

The description says that the scrap "can be used in literally thousands of sentences," "can be used to wipe the fog from a snorkel," and "emits a mysterious beauty when leaning against sea shells."

Here's another sentence that the word "the" can be used in:

THE fool and his money will soon be departed.

This is a great example of that.

Some of the people bidding actually look real (a lot of pos feedback). That shit is crazy!

*contemplating which word(s) I will put up for auction*

I'm just going to write "$1,000,000" on a piece of paper and list it.

How? Why? WTF?????

I've sold hundreds of items on ebay, some of it total rubbish but not once have I had crazy bidding like this.

This is really crazy...i don't understand what they see on a piece of paper with the word "The" ??? Do they consider this as modern art??

I had a cool idea.

Selling fake signed items.

For example fake signed sneakers from Kanye West.

With stealth accounts this has some nice potential if you can fake the signature from a famous person well, also matching it with the right product. A pair of fake Yeezy sneakers plus a fake signature from Kanye West PLUS a complete bull explanation about how you ran in to him in a concert one night or how you had back stage passes and need money.

Actually, that is a very "uncool" idea.

Because it is scamming people out of their money.

If a person can afford to purchase signed shoes for a few thousand dollars...

They obviously have money in the first place, and are probably dumb enough to reel right in. I doubt they would ever find out that they were fake anyway, what's the buyer going to do? Is he going to get Ye's phone number and ask him if the shoes are legit?

lol, people are dying to make money on Ebay, listing physical products, lots of threads and discussions are going regarding ebay, and Now only Paper With "The" Written on it makes $16,000? This is Insane..

Next Auction will be mine with A, An written on a white paper..

So you think it is OK to steal from someone just because they have money?

And how does someone having money make them dumb?

Well take for example.

"Shoes signed by Kanye West?! Oh no way dawg. I got to call my homies up and tell them, wait should I place a bid first? Maybe I should like, message the seller and call him or something. No wait, I'll bid at the last second! He'll never see it coming. I'll just charge it off of dad's credit card, no problem. Word nigguh."

That's not "Black Hat" that's just scamming. Don't confuse the two.
