how can i lower down the ranking of other website from first page to 2nd or 3rd page.

One of my client has some bad reviews on glassdoor and when we search with his brand name the glassdoor appears on 3rd or 4th position with 1 star rating so What can be done to move the ranking of glassdoor from 3rd position to somewhere on 2nd or third page.

You got no chance they are a big, reputable website.

The only thing you can do is ORM

Rank parasite pages for your companies details.

    Facebook
    Directories
    Etc

What you're talking about is negative SEO by the way.

We don't do that around here.

I think you must concentrate on your client website's rather than competitors who is in top. Create usefulness with information & resources (free) of the page that you would like to see above your competitors. If you will do that then that page will automatically gets links from the relevant websites. I mean other relevant websites would love to link your website. And yes you have to work a little harder in marketing your website.

Yes this process will take a little more time but it will fix the problem forever.

Try it...you will surely find the difference.

Just rank a bunch of other pages so that site gets pushed down the 2nd page. Might be very hard because the site is big and established. You can hire an ORM expert.

Get more positive feedback with high stars on that site, that will increase the ratings slightly but its hard luck to get it. Meanwhile build positive ratings on other relevant sites.

I consider myself an ORM specialist.

    Legit, long way, but lasting:
    - Create EMDs, push them with the main website and between them all. Analyze user intent around the brand and make the EMDs around it. Exemple: brand-reviews.com / brand-contact.com
    - Create press release on huge website.

Fast, risky, greyhat way (this is golden and underused)
    - Actually will put this is Jr VIP (sorry ^^)

    Disagree all you want.

Negative SEO is against the rules here.

    Try reading them.

You've been around here long enought to know that.

I know, you know, we all know. So what? You think just because there is rules, people don't take advantage of what happened to be found here to manipulate competitor's ranking?
You are either naive or just pretending to be one!

You are totally missing the point.

Everyone on this site knows negative SEO exists.

On this site, we aren't allowed to talk about how to do it.

    Do you understand now?
