How to lose a 400 strong pbn (hostnine = asshats)

So I had the misfortune of accidentally using retardo-asshat's hostnine for 1 of my networks.

My yearly sub cam up and I went to log in and pay, my password does not work, the reset password is not working and hostnine are c***s.

So now I have lost a whole network I was aging, the master control site for another network was hosted on there and one of my re-directors which tracked about 2m clicks in the last 8 months.

I am not looking for anything, no refund no apology as none could fix there absolute incompetence and lack of service.

Fuck you hostnine.

I was about to start a new PBN and use hostnine...good thing i saw this...
 
I have to admit I have totally lost my shit, they ruined my work and have cost us, well 1 large cluster of our network and all the time and money of that build.

No idea who to recommend now, solidseo look good.

What ? there is no way to recover ? Call them.
 
You should try easyblognetworks. Ive been using them and had no problems. Even when i missed a payment the hosting stayed up.
 
I have a 93 domain PBN with them....makes me worry lol
 
I use hostnine for some sites and, although they are not the best as there is some downtime periodically, they do work well for the sites I have there.

I also back my stuff up so, should what happened to the OP happen to me, I'll be annoyed but not up the river.

Sorry about your deal, @domdata, as I know losing that volume is expensive to say the least.
 
I know a few guys who use EBN, they seem happy there.
 
you hosted all you PBN sites on the same hoster?
 
Give them more time and they will get back to you .. I have opened a second account with them more than a month ago but I did not get my access credentials in the first week, I contacted them but no response .. I filed a dispute with Paypal and still no response then escalated the dispute to a claim and won the claim (all that almost took 3 weeks) then almost a month later after I opened the account I got a response form them asking me if I need any help but I did not bother to respond
 
I have used them for years, they were bought over in August and they have slid downhill since then, no ticket replies, if you get them on live chat i have always found them pretty helpful. it seems to be getting better.
 
That's really bad luck, sorry to hear. Go get a cloud based "fire and forget" backup solution, doesn't cost a fortune and will save you serious headaches if a hosts fucks up.
 
I run full back-ups of all my sites every day, have them encrypted and stored on two different cloud-based providers. Periodically, I download them to a H.D and store them in a secure place. Overkill I know, but some preparedness can make a major inconvenience like yours somewhat less trivial.

I learned all this the hard way years ago... I hope they at least get in touch with you and restore services, or at least provide you with full back-ups. Depending on the sites' ages in your PBN, you could use WayBackMachine or something else to scrape content back (before another BHW user finds out).
 
It sucks to hear that... The very least they can do is to at least let you have a backup copy of all of your sites man..

Yes hostnine is dumb, I lost over 50 PBns in the past because of it.
