Google Keyword Planner is a free stuff. I can't complain.
minimum how much should one spend in order to see search volumeCreate 1 Adwords campaign and then pause it after a few days. You will see the exact number. But please take in mind that sometimes they show similliar keyword as yours. Not exact mach. Just double check the keyword
PM-ing my listI'm really liking the new Moz Keyword Explorer. It shows a range as well, but some other good insights such as opportunity and difficulty. Another good thing about it, is that the 2 free searches you get per day will spit out a lot of suggested keywords as well.

I tried with 10$ and it still says - You've reached the maximum number of page views for this day. This page now shows ranges for search volumes. For a more detailed view, check back in 24 hours.
Any ideas ? Thank you for all suggested tools but they are still bad compared to adwords planner
