How to know your competitor site traffic source

    does anyone know how to check your competitor traffic source? thx

    It's not the most accurate, but if you go to alexa*c0m and type in your competitors domain you can see which sites are linking in. In their stat reports click the number where it says "sites linking in"

    Well you can try statbrain.com but it is not accurate at all! But will give you an idea.

    send him an email pretending to be someone from his affiliate network or isp or some other authority source, and say that there's been some suspicious activity on his account and you need him to disclose all his traffic sources immediately or his account will be terminated ;)

    Yea but if he has any common sense he will realize that it's a fake email and either contact his ad network or just look at the email that it's from.

    On the other hand an email is a great idea. Except, say that you're a private affiliate looking for to pay top dollar for his adspace.

    And if all else fails...you could ask really nicely :)
