How to know which keywords a domain is getting rank for?
Your own domain? Google webmaster tools.
Others domains: semrush or compete.com
what i usually do is scrape around 500+ related keywords (scrapebox, adwords tool) and check ranks for all of them. 100 public proxies that pass google should do the trick.
I am getting much better results than GWT or anything else for that matter. Sometimes you'll see a very searched KW and you ranked #12, so pushing to page one shouldnt be that much of a deal but it will get you more visitors.
I find the Plugin SEO Quake is useful for basic infomation about sites
It also has infomation about Key words and there density
you can use Seo SpyGlass for this. Or manually, from your browser click "view source" on the homepage of that domain. Then search for "keywords".
I usually use Google's webmaster tools but I didn't knew the trick with the view source, interesting.
I have been dong this with the "view source" for a while... And while time cosuming, still effective. I think SEO RankTracker oes thsi as well...
I use www(.)ibacklinkpro.com there is a free demo version option, which will show you which anchor texts (keywords) are advertised by the specific website
For the analysis of your domain use Semrush. It provides me tons of info about keywords, competitors etc. and everything i can export in xls format.
To know the keywords of the domain you can use 'Keyword Country'... It tells you the profitability of each keyword for which a domain is appearing in the search results.
