I am considering buying an expiring domain (expir"ing in 3 weeks). Used Semruch to check. Looks ok (see screenshots)
But when I checked Site:"domain", shows no result.
Can i conclude that the domain has been deindexed/banned since Site:"domain" shows no result?

If nothing shows for site:domain.com then yes, the domain is not indexed. Is there currently any content on the domain? If not, then this is typical behaviour - if there's nothing to index, anything that was indexed previously will fall out of the database as Googlebot encounters the 404s.

web.archive.org shows this 'placeholder' blank screen after Feb 2022. Before Feb 2022, the website content looks ok.

Compare it with hosting history, whether there could or couldn't have been something ugly with blocked Archive bots.

This doesn't matter. If the domain is clean, it will get indexed again without issues. Domain which isn't in index isn't automatically bad and vice versa.

i checked the registrant history. Was started by audio products supplier for a few years, then latest bought by a digital marketing agency.
Is this a red flag?

Did you check for any penalties or manual actions?

Domain does not appear in the search results when using the "site:domain.com" .it suggests that the domain may be de-indexed or banned.Use Google Search Console to check any manual actions or penalties related with the domain.
