    Oups, I forgot
I've uploaded a file with around 2500 links I wanted to disavow, like 7-8 days ago. How do I know when the links have been or have not been disavowed? Searched this all over internet and didn't find anything.

    Thanks a lot!

You could check your links on ahrefs or hire a professional to remove them. If you are dealing with a
penalty I would recommend moving on until the whole disavow thing works out. Disavowing is like
    rolling the dice.

Your links are disavowed as soon as you enter them into WMT. Whether Google chooses to restore your rankings is another matter. Submitting your list and a manual reconsideration request are the only things you can do through Google. You will also need to actively try and delete negative links to your site for the reconsideration request to be successful.

The only way to tell is if they disappear off the backlink list in WMT. But this only applies to the links that are shown in WMT. Which is going to be an extremely small subset of all the links.

Like the above poster said... the tool is terrible.

You are wasting your time if you think the disavow tool will help at all. The only way you can be certain is if you remove the links. As the other person said, hire a professional service to do it for you.

Disavow's just a tool for Google to optimize their link analysis algorithms, not to help you.
