Is it possible to tell what wordpress theme someone is using? Assuming they are using Wordpress
Visit their website.
Press Ctrl+U(Shortcut for viewing pagesource)
Press Ctrl+F (Shortcut to find search box)
Type in the search box /wp-content/themes/
Whatever name shows after the /themes/ is the name of the theme.
Yeah. Also search for the style.css file on the HTML source. Open it and it usually says the theme name right there. Wordpress uses style.css to present the themes to users for download, so it has to have a name in there somewhere and normally also a URL.
Awesome! Learn something literally everyday on this forum. Appreciate ya fellas
Sometimes people change the name of their theme to something else by altering the name in the /wp-content/themes/ path. They do this alot of the time to prevent others from knowing what theme they are using.
However, I use this website all the time: http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/
And even if someone has changed the name of the theme it is able to identify the original name of the theme. It also identifies the plugins they're using.
Hope that helps
Ohhhhhh shit, simplifies it by 10 AND gives you all the details about it. Thanks man!
Separate names with a comma.
