I must be having a brainfart....

I installed WP on a new domain, It works fine of course, but www.domain.com redirects to domain.com - I want www.domain.com to show in the address bar.

I tried changing the two urls in the general settings but that caused an error when I visited the site.

    Any suggestions please?

Clear the caches and cookies. Sometimes it's only browser issues do not show the changes we made.

log in to your websites admin panel (yoursite.com/wp-admin) and go to : Settings -> General and put in the field :
    WordPress Address (URL) : http://www.yoursite.com
    Site Address (URL) : http://www.yoursite.com
i think it should work this way

OP just stated they did that and it didn't work. Instead of clearing cache did you try changing the config using a different browser? Are you using a cache plugin?

OK I'll try that thank you. Not using a cache plugin. Are you saying I need one?

You want to add www. to the domain.

Like, you want to change http://domain.com to http://www.domain.com

You can do it by logging into the wp-admin panel. Select General Settings.
