How To Install A PHP Script?

I recently got a custom made script from a friend of a friend.

The message he gave me was "You should be able to deploy it on any PHP webhost without much trouble, I hope"


I have no idea at all how to install and activate this.

The files sent were 2 php files, and a folder with more folders full of php and a SER file.

The plugin/script is based on simplepie. So I assume its the same thing as installing that?


Any help would be appreciated guys. I will be sure to return the favor.

providing it doesnt need a config file or a database i am thinking you should be able to just upload your files into a folder - when all are loaded just view that folder in your web browser that is if the main file is called index.php and you should be good to go....

other than that i would need to look at the files to help you further..
