How to insert an invisible image into a page?

    How can I insert an invisible image into a webpage that can be clicked on mouse over using the code below.

    Note the src "file" doesnt actually exist in the "folder" directory.. there is no actual image.

    I figure I would have to put an htaccess file in the "folder" directory but havent a clue what to put in the htaccess file to make this work like Ive seen...where obviously no image is shown neither alt text.

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Note this isnt for stuffing cookies.
