    i've tried backlinking...gotten pr5 and 6 links...bookmarked it...submitted articles using article submitter...done directory submissions...still it somehow stays on the third page.

    One mistake i guess is that I am targeting 15 different keywords. I did about 30 pr4+ links for all those keywords (yea thats near 500 links..). Submitted them in a group everywhere...still the results are fairly poor. It has been a while since i did..more like 7 days to be precise.

    any suggestions? I am currently building a squidoo page for it. Might have to go in for squeeze and hubpages as well. The thing is, dont want to use blackhat methods in this...

    thanks

    SEO = 90% Links + 9% Onpage + 1% Patience.

    Check your onpage optimisation, check you have got h1 tags for your keywords, make sure you have unique content and stuff like that. You should have links covered by the sound of it so now it is a matter of waiting, if it is a fresh domain it could take a looooong time before it gets out of the sandbox. Even if it isn't in the sandbox you are going to have to wait for google to discover your new links...

    My guess earliest about a month since you finished link building, latest could be a year if it is a fresh domain.

    nope..its for an established site. It's for a client of mine so i dont have the access needed for on-page. Just wanted to cross check if or not I have done all link building possible. I wont say all is covered, but yea most parts of it is. I'll get him a couple of pr6 .edu and .gov links...if that doesn't do it...then i'll have to ask for the on-page access. the domain is old and already indexed.

    It can take more than 7 day for backlinks to kick in...
