Hello,

I have an instagram and twitter account for an eCommerce site that both have over 1k real followers. How I do this is search #'s that are related to my products and comment/follow users. I get about a 50% follow back rate and tons of Likes

However, on a Business Facebook page you can't search for people via Hashtags or follow people you don't know. The Likes have to come to your page

I tried promoting posts and paid $20 which in return received 12 Likes to the page.

I also joined about 20 Groups and promote posts on their but most people will like the post in the group and not go to the Facebook page and like that.

Any feedback or experience on getting Facebook rolling is much appreciated

Thank you

Facebook ads -> drive likes to your page. That would be the easiest way, but not the most cost effective depending on your budget. It definitely works though.

Well you could do what you did with the groups, but twist it a little. Make a competition out of it, say "A 50$ giftcard lottery" or some such, and make the users like your page to enter the prize draw.

I did this on one of my client's Facebook page, they already had their likes in the low five numbers, but it gave a really nice boost considering the fact that the gift card was to their webstore, so it didn't cost them even the giftcard's value in real value.

Remember, Facebook is really strict as to what you can and cannot ask people to do for their participation in the contest. You can ask them, for example, to like your page, but NOT to share it to enter etc. So you cannot force people to promote your page, as that would go against their ad revenue, however, usually you get some friends and family of people who have already entered to join in via word of mouth.

Also, if it hasn't been changed, the system how the competition was run was through a third party app, which is not ideal for a small business. I hope it has been changed, since it sucked, but I went around it by having the contest on the company's own site, and put the like to win thing in there. At least that is a way to do it without having the trouble of getting Facebook's people coming at you with the ban hammer for breaking their tos.

Again, very effective and you can share the competition to your Twitter followers and IG people, so you can turn them into your FB likers as well. Just remember to read the tos real careful not to break it!

Hope this helps, I've been planning on making this into an actual thread here as a guide as well, so if it helps, do tell and I'll try to find the time to do this stuff properly.

Lostconnection, thank you for the advice! This was well written and I will do another Giveaway contest on Facebook. I had one on instagram and twitter that worked pretty well so this next can be focused on Facebook likes

Appreciate the help

Addmefast, Like4Like, etc...

Invite all of your friends from your accountS to like your page...

Put your Facebook page on your site with a like button...

Share your Facebook posts that you make to various relevant groups...

*All Free

If you want to try the paid approach again you should get a much better $:like ratio if you target 'page likes' choose 'CPM' and target the audiences of similar pages. Don't forget to split-test ads. Depending on your niche it can be as little as $0.01 per like :)

Great advice gentlemen, thanks for posting the Facebook Tutorial sasha

Exchange the likes with similar fan pages if you don't want to spend money.

I think accounts need a minimum "critical mass". So exchanging likes is excellent to reach that target. The harder bit is then getting likers who will spend money/assist in that process.

The easiest way to increase Fb likes would be to buy them. xD

I thinks Facebook Ads, Publish engaging content, always Be active on page will surely help to increase likes.

1. write a good content
2. make your content easy to share your customer
3.create some info graphics
4.make google analytics to your page
5.Offer added values on your website that relate to your business and will appeal to your target market.
6.Create a "best blogs" list post and let the bloggers know you've included them a bit of flattery can go a long way.
7.Update your website regularly.
8. Make your business website trustworthy
9. Answer potential customers' questions in advance by having visible and fully developed policies regarding customer service and the collection and use of customer data.

these are tchniques which help you to improve the traffic of your business website..:)

Awesome posts here and advice.

I have shared my Facebook link on instagram and twitter which in return received some more likes.

I post on Facebook daily with pictures or information

I am hesitant to use a Like4Like group because those likes are not necessarily people interested in the product and are just inflating numbers

7.Like, and interact with, other companies
8.Publish engaging content

Strategies Depends Upon Niche Never Buy Fake Likes or Get Into Like Exchange Programs Unless you are in Certain Niches
If you will explain your Niche I can Suggest you a Plan

Like purely because people like your fanpage. It would be very much better than like a bot. I have some samples.

1 like have the potential to get 5000 people juices, see your ad. If your fanpage targeted, then they would recommend people to see your fanpage.

If they bot. You only get a number like without interaction from your fanpage loyal visitors
