IF you want to see the backlinks of a site, don't use things like the search engines. Use a site called popuri.us. I use this tool all the time. It's free and is a very underated resource.
You go to the site, type in the domain, with or without the 'www.' , ( yes, it doesn matter because they rank both...).
Wait for the results to come up and then click on the ' details ' link to the right hand side of the section on the list and you will have instant access to all of that site's given links and will be able to submit to those same places for a LEGITIMATE page. In the blackhat world, it's a little different. IF you don't make your pages legitimate to start with, don't bother using this technique, as you will get blacklisted from being shared all together, as well as busted for spamming due to linking for non-relevant content.

Just get more of the link juice. Comment on High PR blogs and also read Harro's "why so serious" backlinking theory. I got some decent info from there. PR basically determines the importance of a webpage to BIG G, which is again an effect of the backlinks from pages with greater importance (HIGh PR websites). Relevant link building is what you should focus on.

As mentioned above, you need lots of backlinks. But how do you get backlinks? The easiest way I generate backlinks is through social bookmarking sites. One of my sites has most of its backlinks from social bookmarking sites and has a page rank of 3, started the site a few months ago.

I'll give away a little tip I use to improve my PageRank (for free). :listen:
The easiest and quickest way is to buy high PR links into your site (a few PR6 links and your site will soon be a PR5). But not everyone can afford to do that, so....
Create yourself a handful of Wordpress.com blogs (make them relevant to your sites content). Post daily (use a scraper if you really can't be bothered - but it is much better to write your own - 150 words is fine, it doesn't have to be an essay). Use both popular tags and a few obscure ones - make some up if you like. I usually try and use 10-15 tags.
I have done this and in some cases, within a month, some of my blogs have become PR4 - the rest soon follow. This is thanks to the juice passed from the Wordpress tag pages (and yes - there are some ******** links on there - you just have to find them...)
Now, use you little blog network to fire links at your main site & pass all that link juice on. Hey presto!
And of course, this should be a compliment to your normal link building activity, not your only strategy!!!

That is a fantastic site for spying. I just spent the whole day there finding links to stuff needed for something and in the process found some easy places I can join and get my own additional backlinks.
You are right, definitely under rated!

Like others have mention. Go around link exchanging with other websites. Also pay more attention to the black hat methods in this forum about gettings lots of blacklinks.
Jepp, I agree with that. If you want to have a high PR you need high PR links, cause only they can bequeath you a high PR!!
PR does not determine the importance of a webpage anymore! It plays only a little factor to the importance of a website, because Gurgel nocited that it is too easy to mainipulate it.
I think this is not true. If you only want a high PR, relevance is not important.

Next, with you wanting pagerank, it comes with building backlinks lust like you have already benn told in prior posts.
Are you trying to build pagerank or search engine ranking?
There is a HUGE difference, as one has nothing to do with the other anymore.
You are telling us that you want to improve your pagerank but yet when we told you, you moved with this post asking for linkbuilding.
Take a second and decide what it is you clearly want and then ask for help. We will be more than happy to help you if you know what it is you are asking for.
