I have to create a website for a client that looks like it was created back in 2008
I will create a HTML Website i think , with the oldstyles and no timestamps, but how to Fake with Google?
search results shows the date right, Plus Who.is info reveals the date of creation of the domain
I have never done such thing before. so just asking suggestions.

Buying an aged domain (not deleted) would solve the who.is date problem.

Google does show the posting date but not in all results. So there is certainly a catch there.

I have a feeling that plain HTML template will not get the date shown in the SERPs.

Try this and get back with result.

Get an aged domain and reconstruct the site. If you must add dates, then backdate it.

Dates are not displayed for HTML pages.

Get an old domain, create html site. But if you like to show 2008 date then add timestamp back to 2008 and let Google index that. So it will show back date on search results.

    Cheers

The domain has already purchased a year back... Cant use another aged one.
Do you think changing timestamp in HTML would work for change in google results ?

Yes it works! Insert the timestamp and use instantlinkindexer and you may get it showing instantly.

    Cheers

I think its impossible to hide Registered Date from Whois Info, If you dont have 8 years old domain.
You can Hide the Registered Name & Contact Info by Privacy but not the Registered Date.
