    Hello everyone,

I am using H1 tags to hide content on the main page of my website. It is mainly a banner website, thus I don't want to put many content or at least not make them visible to visitors. I red that content hidden in H1 tags are considered as SPAM by google. Can someone confirm it ?

What would be another alternative to hide content ?

    Many thanks!!!

You'll probably be penalised for this. Hiding content is frowned upon (to say the least) by Google and is a blatant attempt to try and trick the search engines. I'd advise you not to do this. Get some good content up and place your banners and ad's strategically and you'll still get clicks without worrying about hiding content.
