    Hey guys... Im trying to figure out, is there a way, to 100% hide my affiliate link / ID so it's impossible to see.

    Right now, the best thing I know is:

    have a main site, then open the affiliate link in iframe... affiliate link will be masked using a link cloaking script.. this way, no affiliate link seen or affiliate ID in address bar..

    but, all someone has to do is hit view source, and they can go directly to the cloaking link, which will eventually take them to the cpa offer with my affiliate ID in the address bar in the end.

    Is there any way at all around this loop hole to hide the affiliate ID 100% bullet proof? I had someone try making a php script that hides the url from the page source, but with that, the affiliate cookies are not dropped... it shows the content of the end page, but does not drop the cookies.

    Anyone with insight on this?

    thanks

    Create a folder on your hosting account and call it what ever. Change the link and save the following php redirect as index.php and upload to the newly created folder. Your links will then look like domain.com/whatever

    Maybe im wrong, but i think he means after the CPA link is clicked ? Your affiliate link will be show. I think that has to do with the way your network at the cpa offer set up with the advertiser. Someone let me know if im wrong.

    Hi.. I think you misunderstood me. This is basically just cloaking the affiliate link.. i can use pretty link or something else to do that.

    I'm talking about completely hiding my affiliate ID from address bar

    you are right. some networks show the affiliate link in the address bar at the end... iframe solves that problem.

    but, all someone has to do is click "viewpage source", and can see the link to go to.. and in the end can see the affiliate ID in address bar... im trying to figure out if there is a way to avoid this 100%

    Make a file called.. shit-is-cool.php

    And add this code.

    <?php
    function curl($url) {
    $ch = curl_init($url);
    return curl_exec($ch);
    }
    $html = curl('http://www.google.com/');
    print_r($html);
    ?>

    I was wondering if cookies would work with it.

    its weird... its dropping some cookies, but not all...

    like, its dropping tracking cookies for ads on a site, but not the actual site... try sohh.com in it and see what you get... the original sites are not showing up correctly

    Curl is obviously a bad idea, because it's server side. All of the clicks/impressions would come from the server's IP, which means no conversions and a suspicious traffic flag for you. If a network has the affiliate ID actually in the URL of the end result page, you can't do anything about it. If you plan on sending greasy traffic somewhere, I'd suggest not sending it there.

    Honestly I'm not sure, however that's not the only way to tell where traffic is heading. Simply using something like Tamper Data or WireShark, you can see where all data on a page is being transmitted. Basically, there's no hiding it. Cloaking will probably be the best you can do if the network actually has your affiliate ID on the end-result URL.

    CPA Redirector won't do what the OP is trying to accomplish. The referrer isn't what matters in his case - it's the people looking at his final page that can see his affiliate ID and report him to his network.

    Don't use curl, if you do so, the actual offer page is not shown, curl just fetches the source and renders it again on your server.

    But you can try this:
    Create one php file, let's say tracker.php (for more stealth);
    frame tracker.php and note down the page with frame
    Code:
    http://yourdomain.com/frame.html
    The code for tracker.php (replace accordingly):

    Code:
    <?php
    $afflink = '[COLOR=#ff0000]YOURAFFLINK[/COLOR]';
    $allowed = '[COLOR=#ff0000]http://yourdomain.com/frame.html[/COLOR]';
    $testref = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
    if ($testref==$allowed) {
    header( 'Location: ' . $afflink ) ;
    }
    ?>

    You are referring to masking. Samurai Stealth Cloaker does what you are looking for.
