How to help you rank higher than sites with less links

    One way is to post a few no follow high authority links at the bottom of the page that you want to rank for.

    Example:
    Here are some other related sites for you to browse. Thank you for visiting:

    Then post a few I usually do about 6 no follow related wiki, org, edu, links.

    i think hes referring to google giving your website more trust because your linking to authority sites in that niche. Ive heard of this happening before but i highly doubt you got to #1 just by using this.
