First time got hit by a penalty and I don't have any experience on how to recover. I didn't blast any backlinks on the website in last 2-3 weeks. It was stable until today when I saw drops -1, -2, -3 and also -30 penalty position on ALMOST all keywords. And I'm sure this is not a dance.

I also have another website which got hit with -100 penalty (no keyword found in top 100 position). I'm really no experienced with Google penalities and a little of help would be great.

    Thank you

Most likley you sticked to much to your anchor tags or your backlink sources. Try diversify both. un a press release campaign with additional social bookmarks, dripped over one month with varying anchor tags.

hmm -50 is through bad neighborhood and -100 is when they come to know you are SEOing (means same hyperlinks). - just sayin with a little experience with 5 emds. I didn't bother because a domain is like $3-$4. But if you are desparate, a little quality links from guest blog posts with diverse anchor text can help.

i received a very similar penalty...

keep building links and de-optimize your anchor text...
