How to handle a inquisitive affiliate manager?

Hello I need help to con a affilate manager!

Short story: larger online retailer forgot to renew one of their domains. I snapped it. Now I rederct the traffic from this domain to their main site with my affiliate code.

Now the affiliate manager sent me an email to congratulate me on the high CRT and asking how I promote their brand.

What should I tell her?

Please advice, my affiliate account are getting fatter by the hour and there is now way I can "fly under the radar"

Any suggestions are realy appriciated.

hmm you could telling him or her that you own several targeted opt-in email lists and you gradually send different users emails everyday.

Could tell them you purchased 100 info domain names (seo targeted) and direct all traffic to your main domain.


Could tell them the truth and that if they want their domain name back they will have to pay you a pretty penny :fest06:. Just watch out if the name is copyrighted, they may try to get it back from you with their lawyer.

yup, the name is copyrighted (sedo wouldnt park it!) but its a european TLD so it might take some time before they can get it back with their lawyers. I was acctualy contacted by their lawyer trough the domain registrar 6 months ago but I ignored them. havent heard enything since then.

Ill tell the affiliate manager what you suggested but not .info but the country TLD I have.

if he wants to know where the traffic is coming from, he could check the referrer.

just ignore him like you did their lawyers. its none of his business where you get your traffic from.
