I applied to a job on craigslist for SEO. I've got 4 yrs experience & put in some professional sounding BS, so the recruiter calls me - We're looking for someone to do SEO copywriting or something. I eventually didn't care to drive 1 hour north full time to do this job that does not require it. But she was excited to hear that I only wanted $30/hour.

She leaked the company Grainger. so lets think about this:

Grainger is willing to pay me $30/hr to do a small part of their SEO work.

So since I am an SEO expert, I know that selling a comparable grainger product can reap massive rewards. Therefore, this is a working strategy.

Keep in mind this is america environment I have a bachelors. but just a heads up. and.. attack!

Pretty nice opportunity and high rate. Just proofs there is someone out there ready to empty their pockets.

I'm surprised that she was surprised that you were only charging $30 per hour.

Sounds good. Long commute though, and , you said "drive" , which I'm guessing means : no mass transit option ,where , you could spend the commute reading, or , on a laptop to : not have the commute time be a life drain.

$30 per hour sounds awesome , and , its better than what a lot of people have. Its more like : $26 per hour net , because , you have a two hour round trip to clock in. Also : putting wear and tear on a vehicle as well.

You should do it though , for sure , get in there , and , bust your as* , is what i say. Having a trusted brick and mortar like that on your resume is a huge positive , in the long term. Also : a job like that would come with benefits , like : comprehensive health plans , paid vacation/sick leave ,and , pay rise opportunities ; if you are the type that can do well in office politics and being well liked in office environments , you could quickly get yourself put on to a work from home situation , and , be getting pay rises while : you just sit in your house pressing keys : the American dream.

Also : you have a chance to learn about an advertiser/tactile product provider from the inside out ,and , learn unique knowledge to help if you ever wanted to make any journeys again.
