I want to grow instagram profile with just carousels...
similar to this account: https://www.instagram.com/itsfinancialeducation/

what do i need to do?

posting valuable content, i know...

what bout, do i need to engage a lot? do i need to follow unfollow? or do i just rely on content?

Good content should be your main focus but don't rely on content alone. Try to engage with people in your niche by replying to comments and leaving genuine comments on other posts.

You do not need follow and unfollow. Build trust by sharing useful information, posting regularly, and talking with people in your niche. Over time, those habits usually bring better and more stable growth.

Personally, I'd skip the follow/unfollow method.

I'd just keep posting solid carousels and interact naturally with people in the same niche. It might be slower at first, but it feels much more sustainable in the long run.

I'd focus on the content first. Carousels can grow an account if people save and share them. Post consistently, make the first slide interesting and reply to comments.

You don't need follow/unfollow. Just spend a little time engaging with people in your niche.

i’d skip follow/unfollow. with carousel accounts, saves and shares matter a lot, so test stronger first slides and spend a bit of time leaving real comments in the same niche.

Replay to comments to encourage engagement but I'd avoid follow/unfollow tactics they rarely build a loyal audience in the long run. Content is the main growth factor especially with carousels. Focus on strong hooks valuable slides and consistency.

Don’t chase follow/unfollow. Carousels grow when people save them or send them to someone, so the job is making posts worth keeping not just posts that look active.

Completely ignore the follow/unfollow tatic, it can lead to account restrictions and flags, ultimately harming your standing.

The most important metrics are saves, shares and the time spent viewing the carousel, these will easily help your content get promoted to the explore page.

If you plan to create carousels, your first slide needs to stop the reader from scrolling past, and the content itself should be something they'ii want to refer back to later, that's what drives saves.

And make sure to reply to comments.

Carousels can definitely grow an account, but consistency matters more than anything I'd focus on solving one problem per carousel, keep the design clean and post regularly

Also spend some time engaging with other creators in your niche I wouldn't bother with follow unfollow it might give you numbers but not the right audience

the account you linked is basically doing three things: super clear topic, consistent carousel formats, and good hooks/structure so people actually finish + save.
