That's a lot of links to a virgin Blog :)

I would have let it mature a little first drip some decent quality unique content a small number of back links to get the pages indexed and when I had a decent page count submit RSS feed to aggregators.

Then when the site was 6 months + I'd slowly ramp up the link building.

I may be wrong (and I often am) but this way I don't get the Google Dance just a nice slow rise in SERPS. But then I'm patient I have some sites I just put out to grass for a year or so and I never touch them. I'm trying to get rich slowly now as the fast methods never worked for me :(

Roberteb, not everyone can wait 1 year, then linking :) .
TigerMN , start with some social submit ( facebook groups, twitter appl, etc ) , bring more quality content (thats very important for new sites/blogs) and put some link in trusted sites ( digg, stumleupon, etc ).

Alanfort I know people aren't patient and prepared to wait. That's why a lot of newbies never make it. They chase one system after another looking for a magic bullet.

I'm sure a magicish bullet exists but those that have it aren't going to tell you or me what it is :)

Since I stopped chasing the dragon I've been much more successful and now I focus 80% of my time on what works (in the long run) and 20% testing crackpot get rich quick traffic / linking / grey hat stuff. So I have some fun while still building a firm foundation with my white hat sites.

Action point: Don't spend all your time looking for the pot of gold at the end of the raindow. Focus on building a sustainable business instead.

Be patient. Just post new contents regularly and try to make your site available to all by visiting forums, social networking sites and directories like blogcatalog and Blogoola

    Referring Traffic OR Search Traffic.

If u want to increase you search traffic, try to add more high quality links to your sites and update more frequently.

If u want to social traffic, focus more on Web2.0 and Social networking
