When short videos first came out, I uploaded videos, but I left my channel because it did not make money. Now I'm thinking of opening a yt short channel for children. Do you have any suggestions? How many days should I upload a video, at what time should I upload it, what should I pay attention to?

For a children's YT Shorts channel, post consistently aim for daily or 4-6 times a week

upload during peak times like early mornings or afternoons when kids are more likely to watch. Focus on engaging, fun content with bright visuals

Shorts videos already get a lot views of you choose the niche well . Even one shorts a day can give lot of views if you make good content.

Upload one video a day, no need to overdo it, there are cases where creators spam uploaded 3-5 videos a day and channel gets deleted since yt detects it as spam.

Time of upload doesn't really matter, however just to go with logic, upload it in times when people are mostly awake and that would be anywhere between morning-evenings.

Another thing to realize is that if youtube detects that your channel is kids content, the earnings are less for kids content due to limitations in ads, however kids content gets very high views if the content is good enough

Kids love colorful content, so make sure the thumbnail and the video has contrasty colors, interesting objects like character and other items like ecample balloons, animals ,slided etc [we believe you understand the point :)]

Goodluck!

Post consistently with engaging, high-quality content tailored to trending topics. Optimize titles, descriptions, and hashtags to improve discoverability and attract a wider audience.

Cartoons or animations will work best for kids. Upload time should be in evening.

If you get a viewership among children for a shorts channel, you can make a lot of money. Selecting a good niche is important to stand out from competition because lot of channels competing for children attention.

Starting hook is very important in shorts videos. If it lacks even a little juice, you loose all the audience and reach will be killed.

After creating the channel check the yt studio app suggestion for the new shorts.
Children loves cartoon, comic and funny materials very much.

Two points:

Kids oriented channel: your monetization is going to be limited by YouTube (only few advertisers are going to be available for your channel)

Your content is going to be constantly supervised by YouTube policies (and by some parents)
