Hey BlackHatWorld Community!

I though I would start a thread for the newbies, along with the more advanced users who are struggling with the new Instagram algorithm update. As most of you already know, Instagram has really increased their security, and as a result, millions of users have had their account banned (including my own). I will be posting the knowledge I know below, and encourage anyone else with valuable information to chime in. I am also hear to learn some more information on Instagram to help myself :)

We are a community after all....
Lets stick together, and overcome the obstacles that Instagram implements.

NOTES BEFORE YOU PROCEED:
- I am not a professional!
- This is not a tutorial, rather a guide of what NOT TO DO
- I am writing facts that based on the mistakes I have made, and the lessons I have learned
- This information may not be as accurate as I hope (Correct me if I am wrong)
- No negativity please (This is to help and encourage people, not to put them down)

HOW TO GET YOUR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS BANNED
I will update this list as I learn more from comments & from my own mistakes

Buy new Instagram accounts

They get banned easier now since the big Instagram update. New accounts also have loads of restrictions, making it impossible to promote the account with any automation software.

Add more than 3 accounts to 1 Private Proxy
Yes, I am aware that there are some crazies with 7 or more accounts/proxy ...DONT DO IT

Use Public Proxies
99% instant ban

Use General Private Proxies
You need Instagram Private Proxies which are tested to work with Instagram

Register more than 5 IG accounts on 1 IP address or private proxy
Instant ban

Login to your IG accounts from other computers that use a different IP address
This will cause a verification popup, and adds a red flag to your account.

Post other peoples pictures
Instagram can detect this, and ban your account. If you still want to proceed modify the picture or change the hash first to limit Instagram from detecting this.

Rapidly post, like, follow, comment, or DM
Instead, start slow and work your way up SLOWLY. This is a great way to receive a verification pop-up which will add a red flag to your account.

Post the same link in the bio on multiple accounts
Your link will get banned very fast. There are many methods to creating multiple accounts and posting multiple links which all lead to the same website. However there are a lot less methods now since the Instagram update. You probably would not find much successful methods on this forum as as soon as they are posted, Instagram would update and prevent the method from working.

USE CAUTION When sending DM's or posting lots of comments
I find both of these are very sensitive, and can quicky get your account banned. I personally dont comment or dm unless its to my followers, or on my own pictures.

MORE USEFUL INFORMATION

Instagram Algorithm To Ban Accounts
This is my own understanding, and is not indented to be accurate information, however there is some truth to it, and it will help you prevent getting your accounts banned.

I think of Instagram algorithm as a 3 strikes your out kind of algorithm. Not in the sense that you actually have 3 strikes, but in the sense if you push your limits enough times you will get yourself banned. From what I imagine, Instagram monitors every aspect of your accounts activities, and records everything. When it notices something strange, it will give you a flag (invisible to you). Once your account receives enough flags, your account becomes banned. I believe there are 2 types of flags; common flags, and advanced flags. Common flags would be triggered by 1 specific actions such as sending to many following requests or posting to many pictures. While the advanced flags are more complex and rely on a combination of 2 or more actions. For example its safe to follow 100 users, dm 25 users, like 200 pictures / day, but when they are combined all into one day, it triggers an advanced flag. An example of this would be posting 10 pictures/day + 25 DM's/day + 400 Likes/day + 100 follows / day. Each one of these actions are ok on their own, but together it results in a flag. I have yet to figure out the boundaries to this exactly, so to be safe I prefer to limit my actions, and extend the actions to additional accounts. This evens out the workload. Let me know what you think about this theory, and if you have anything to add.

INSTAGRAM ACTIONS (Posting, Liking, Following, DM's etc)

Before I dive into this, I need to make sure you understand these IMPORTANT detail!s Every Instagram account is different, and what works on 1 account may get the other account banned. New accounts will have loads of restrictions, and will only be able to preform a small amount of actions. Aged accounts will have less restrictions, thus allowing you to perform a larger amount of actions. NEVER push your accounts to the limit. Since there is no clear guideline on the limitations, you need to start slow, and slowly increase your actions every day. When I mean slow, dont jump from posting 2 pictures to 10 pictures, or liking 10 pictures to 100 pictures. Go even slower (unless you dont mind the risks). I recommend increasing your followings, and likes by 10 each day. Comments should increase by 1 every few days (be careful with this one), DM's should start with 2/day and every 5-7 days increase this number by 1 (be careful with this one also). This may seem like a long process, however if your in it for the long run, you will save loads of time and money by following this.

..More to come as I read comments and learn more. To stay up-to-date, make sure to "Watch Thread"

I hope you all found this useful! This took a lot of time to write.
You can say thanks by giving this a thumbs up, and commenting below with your helpful tips and suggestions!

Darn, I guess that counts me out!

I appreciate you respecting the No Negativity policy :)

If you think of something positive to write, whether just a comment, or a helpful tip, feel more than welcome :)

I consider myself lucky so far... Account is 6 months old and likes 1k pics a day, follows 1k, but only posts once.

This is not right, it doesn't really add a red flag lol..

nice reading but thats not proofed because many do higher values you are writing.
you can post other people pics as well ... i did if for a long time and had no issue.

I did everything you say it cannot be done and my accounts are good, this is totally miss leading thread

I think that the whole discussion about ip-s (one ip per account, not to change the ip) is a little bit overrated and could cause a red flag by itself. Just think about the ig... is designed to be used as an app from your smartphone. So you use many wireless networks every time of the day and also your network provider data and every time you will have a different ip. Just my thoughts.

is there a place where instagram posts its update details other than the bare minimum they tell us in the appstore update details

My thought exactly, if you picture a normal IG user, that person is using the mobile app, mobile network IP's change frequently unlike home routers on LAN, the person could live in two homes, use different hotspots, etc.
But maybe IG tracks the IP's you are connected the longest to, like more than 2 residential home IP's

I think this "Instagram proxies" are pure marketing

You are correct. Here's how some proxy companies work:

All proxies except for "Instagram Proxies" block any access to instagram.com.

Their "Instagram Proxies" are setup to allow access to instagram.com but all other sites are blocked...

Thanks for your reply.

Thats great to know that you are successful with your method.

How many users do you follow every hour?

How many posts do you like every hour?

Are you using public, private proxies, or your own IP?

How old is your IG account?

This would help others with knowing successful methods to acheive that high rate of followings and likes without getting banned.

Very useful information. Especially the point with the "post other people's pictures". Never knew that. Thanks

Im happy to know you found this useful :)

Thanks for your correction/opinion. Is your reply based on this current month or before the big Instagram update?

From what I have experienced, after I verify an account 10-15 times in a row (delay or no delay) the account gets banned. I understand there are many variables which can cause accounts to get banned. This has been happening for the past week only.

This guide is most suited for those who are experiencing accounts getting banned, and want to try and limit the variables which may cause it. I understand that some points are extreme, however following them will lessen the chances of getting banned.

You are absolutely correct. You can do higher values for individual actions, however combining them with other high value actions would result in a red flag in my opinion (based my my experience)

Also you state that you have been successful with higher values for a long time with no issues. What about after the big Instagram update which occurred less than 30 days ago?

I did everything you say it cannot be done and my accounts are good, this is totally miss leading thread

Can you elaborate more please?

I agree with your opinion in specific scenarios, however their are other variables I do not think your accounting.

When you use a cell phone, your device ID, along with your IP address and other information is recorded by Instagram. No matter what your IP address becomes (New 3g IP, or a random wireless network), your device ID stays the same. This allows Instagram to see that users are using the same device but are using different networks. If you were to use Phone #1 on Network #1 and then use Phone #2 on Network #2 It will trigger the verification process since Instagram thinks the account may be compromised. Especially if the network is outside of the country.

When you use a computer to access Instagram, your Device ID, MAC Address, IP address, and other information are shared. If Instagram notices the network change, but the device ID or MAC address stay the same, you are fine. However if your device ID, MAC address and IP change, then it will trigger the verification process, since Instagram things the account may be compromised.

When you use a private proxy, you will never know what others were using it for before you started using it. They could have used that proxy for creating mass IG accounts, or for spamming on Instagram. This would result on that proxy being flagged by Instagram, and any other IG accounts which use that proxy in the future will inherit those flags, thus making it easier to get banned.

1. If you created the Instagram yourself, you will have a lot less problems switching proxies, or using different networks such as public wifi, 3G etc

2. If you purchased an Instagram account that was created within a few weeks, most likely is was created using proxies which are based outside of the country you live or the location of your proxies. Instagram keeps a record of the IP address used to create the account. They will see that since the beginning the account has been using Proxy #1 in Location #1. Then randomly the pattern changes, and the IP changes to IP #2 in Location #2. This would cause a flag to monitor the account closer to see if there is any un-usual activity. Now that you are being monitored closer, every action you implement will be compared to the previous history of the account. If its drastically different, you will receive a verification pop-up. If there was already other flags on the account, there is a higher chance that the accounts will end up in a verificaiton loop to the point you will have to keep on verifying After the 10-15th verification your account will be banned.

3. The same goes for aged Instagram accounts. Yes they have less restrictions, however they also have a longer history thus giving Instagram a more accurate assumption that the account is encountering suspicious activity. Resulting in a verification loop, and ban.

So in a nutshell:
1. Its ok to change your ip address on IG accounts you created on your network
2. Its less ok to change your proxy or ip on a purchased IG account.

Let me know if you agree with this
