    Hi guys

I have a hosting account for my main business (non-blackhat), which I bought the domain and hosting for a few years ago for a good all-in-one price. Back then I was a bit thick to stuff like that, but now know better obviously, but I'm having a problem.

Towards the end of last week, my computer died and with it went my passwords. I can now no longer access my FTP for the site, the control panel or the email addresses. I contacted the support to email me the passwords (as the email address I set up with them years ago is no longer in use), on Friday but still haven't heard from the owner. I know that's not been too long and there's a weekend between, but I'm really desperate to get into my email as I have clients who email me every day.

    This is the site:

    Code:
    hxxp://www.fractix.co.uk
As I say, this was a few years ago and I know better now, but I was wondering if someone could do their magic for me and find out this guys contact details, whether it's an address or a phone number, as I don't have a clue about this kind of thing.

If I shouldn't be requesting this, I apologise, but I'm just desperate to get access to my business back as it's my bread and butter to get by every day.

    Thanks
    Steve.

He has opted out of Whois so I dont think his contact details are available to be found.

    Code:
    http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/registry-data.jsp?domain=fractix.co.uk

Thanks moremoney for trying, I appreciate it :)

Are there any other ways this can be done that anyone knows of? It's really urgent that I get in contact with him.

So is the whois way the only way possible to find out information on people when it comes to something like this?

The owners name is Lee Speakman. Only guy in the UK with his name (that I found with a quick search) is this guy: http://www.4networking.biz/members/view.htm?UserID=33034

May or may not be the right one, but has his phone number so you'll soon find out! The site looks dead by the way, so I'd be surprised if they even promote anymore.

an idea would be to get on a new hosting plan and change the name servers.then you can access any new email coming in at least if its a daily problem. sounds like time to upgrade anyways

    Hi appleman

Is it possible for me to change the name servers if I can't access the control panel / FTP?

I was going to change over within the next couple of weeks actually...oh, the irony.

    Steve.

You can change name server from your domain provider but if you don't have backup of your site then it's really big problem... If you got site (backup) or could setup new then it's not gonna big problem...
