How to get traffic from Tumblr. Any tips for a beginner?
You can try this method.
Create a new blog related to your target niche. Please use user friendly tumblr theme (resposnive, blog style & white appearance). (Try to avoid the theme with infinite scroll feature.) Find useful and viral contents related to your niche. Post or repost/rblog those content. Use at least 1-3 relevance tags on your post. Set content source to your affiliate link or even better to your own landing page. Make sure your blog have at least 10 posts, that reflect to your chosen niche. Now go to fiverr and find good seller that sell 'tumblr rblog/repost' gig. Make sure this seller has a lot of follower with high engagement rate. In few more days, you'll see follower increment and sale possibly.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
wow thanks qwertymarketer this look a nice idea, but can you make a site viral with this methed only with ther traffic resoures.
Login few day later and looks at this
1, its 2017 and 75%+ are on mobile so theme does matter just the colors you can change on the app
2,ideal would be 10 tags you can add max 20 tags
3,any link pointing outside tumblr will get your blog soon or later banned
4,most ppl here want free methods not buy fiverr gigs that will be probably not effective
if you want grow one acc and ear money use this method
make one "money account" and reblog from there post with link to your main account where will you have followers the reblog stay alive even your money account is banned. Also there is 99% chance your main blog will survive much longer.
None of my tumblr blogs got banned so far mate. I started my tumblr journey in early 2016. I linked to aff url occasionally. Most of the time to my landing page collecting email or just free pdf report giveaway containing my aff url. I used fiverr because it does bring traffic spike to my tumblr so do the follower. I take it slow and didn't do thing aggressively on tumblr.
Affiliate links are welcomed on Tumblr. However if it seemed to Tumblr that your blog is spamming affiliate programs without bringing value, they will ban you.
"Can I still use my own affiliate links?
Yes. Absolutely. Personal affiliate links are given priority over Tumblr's. They won't be blocked or overridden. As long as you're following our Community Guidelines (i.e., not creating blogs with the primary purpose of affiliate marketing) we hope you're making tons of money."
I agree to not using your aff link in the majority of your posts. I think it is important to only occasionally post aff links. Posting aff links frequently may be why blogs get banned.
