Ok, this method will work best for British people.

Basically, newspapers use the Disqus commenting method. And you can make an OPENID, and use your keyword and domain as the author. I use this for other Disqus sites, but sites like the independent have massive PR. The main site has a PR of 8. and many news stories have PR 6. I have found 7 so far after 10 minutes of looking. I'm sure there will be a PR 7 out there!

Use this method to find other Disqus sites and get some MASSIVE PR.

Time for some spoon feeding:

  • In google, use this footprint:
    Code:
site:independent.co.uk/news -"Comments for this page are closed." inurl:.html
  • Use SEOQUAKE plugin to check PR very quickly, in options only have PR activated.
  • In google options, turn off instant search and set results to 100 per page.

GET BACKLINKING!!! If you found this useful, show your appreciation.

EDIT:

Here is a detailed guide:

Is this useful to anyone so far? :) I mean I read the online newspapers, and get free backlinks while I'm at it!

The backlinks are nofollow and thus worthless

I am not getting it. If we use open id only our open id URL shows under our name or whatever we give as name. Can you explain me more how you done it. can you show me the link where you posted. If not here but in PM? Thanks.
Sorry for the noob question.

nice i think i will tweet this a little to get a nice backlink juice thanks

when i try to connect with Openid it doesnt work...

HI

sorry it does not work, only a blank page

site:independent.co.uk/news -"Comments for this page are closed." inurl:.html

You missed some important point... and it is that Disqus in most cases host the comments on their server and appears like iframe on the child website...

I mean copy the name of someone left comment on a givven page, then open the source code of that page (Ctrl U) then search for the coppied name (Ctrl F)... you will NOT find the name there, or in our case the comment is not on independent.co.uk/ website.

I hear your criticisms, but I have done some research:

On of the comments is:
awesome! I recently installed this on my website and the conversation rate of my site and blog posts has gone thru the roof. Google really loves comments powered by dusqus.

if you do a google search for "awesome! I recently installed this on my website and the conversation rate of my site and blog posts has gone thru the roof. Google really loves comments powered by dusqus." then you'll see the comment has been indexed by google. Though I suspect this site is using the disqus WP plugin, rather than just the javascript implementation (if you turn off js in your browser, the comments are still there).

It shows up. Simple as.

Hey, not too sure why you would get that. works PERFECT for me. I get over 180,000 results. Take a look at the detailed guide (top post).

The backlinks are no-follow and thus worthless
Just checked and The Independent's comment links are no-follow. No-follow links may pass a little authority, but they will not pass PR; so have little value.

Whether the comment is indexed or not is pretty much irrelevant, if the links' no-follow.

If you look at the source code, the comments are not there -> worthless links.
