i have my site with http://site.com and i dont have any problem with google. Why you think google consider sites like that as a duplicated content ? I have unique content and am fine with just http://asd.com

You just need to redirect one to the other using .htaccess. There are many tutorials on this out there.

If you have got cpanel you should go to 301 redirects and redirect the non-www site to www.

Also, make sure your DNS has www pointing to the apex.

Does this count on Google? Does this decrease the SERP's position?

All my site have Webmaster Tools preference to be listed without www. All are in SERPS. I just double checked with Firefox doing private browsing, and one of those sites is on page 9 for keyword with 588,000,000 results. will PM the keyword and site if you like.
