which country is that? here if i would like to find out a few things about a company, there's a free to use online system operated by the government, where all the domestic companies are listed and all the info which is public domain can be reached, info like their equity capital, address, the name of the president and other members, if they are under bankruptcy proceedings or not etc., this can be a possible solution, if you too have a system like that

on the other hand you don't necessarily need to know the business owner's name, if you write a letter, you can write "to whom it may concern" or Dear Sir/Madam
or if you have the phone numbers, you can try calling them and ask for the owner, who will introduce yourself to you or just ask the clerk the owner's name, i think you can be honest about the reason and just tell them, that you want to write a letter/have a business proposition for them and you want to address the letter directly to the owner

Done, but I don't get the owner's name.

    It's Italy.
What is the name of that online system operated by the government ?
How can I ship the letter to the business owner without the owner's name ?
Calling is a way but it's not fast.

    Thanks :)

    Yea was gonna say that.
Only thing in my phone book is just the business name and the phone number, along with the business address.
Nothing with the owners name and owners address.

As in the PERSONAL address of the business owner?

That's a bit creepy OP, are you going to scout out his house until you see the perfect opportunity to pitch something?

it doesn't really matter, because i live in Hungary, but you can try to search on Google for company register in Italy or maybe this is it: http://www.registroimprese.it/en/web/guest/cosa-offre-il-portale

you have a valid point here, idk why, but i was thinking about email when i wrote that lol
but you can always send the email to their business address and use those formulas i wrote above or if you manage to get their name, even better, it's more professional than sending it to their personal address, not sure if it's a good idea at all after giving a though to what Aluminium wrote above

i beg to differ, how long would it take to call 10 numbers?

Maybe try to address them with the name of the Business/company. Seems to me the mail would be forwarded to said business. Though letters and envelopes would just be thrown out most times. Depending on the worth of the client to you, maybe try using actual packages that may be less likely to be thrown away without opening.

I usually just google their information, if I can't find the info I need I just call them with a fake alias and get the info that way.

County property records always worked for me. When I have their full name.
