Ok im going back to the aff marketing roots with this newb question..

i come from somewhat of a ewhoring background as i used to throw up porn blogs and promote porn ads..easy enough.

well now im into "normal" aff marketing and CPA ads.

well i have this clickbank product thats brand new by an unheard of guy.

i rank like #1-4 in google for the main keywords and theres minimum competition.

i am now running an adwords campaign, i am in the top positions for the seach and content networks.

but i am getting no sales or impressions 0,zilch, nada

so obviously this is because its an unheard of new product.

how would you go about promoting this even if adwords doesnt work??
oh an i dont have an email list to market to.

at its simplest level you can always target its competition...

    for example...

dont buy xxxxxx till you've read this...

use/rank for its competition kinda thing... make sense?

    hope that helps

    thanks

i see so basically try to get results by ranking for similar products. but then this might be crucial to my click through rates and conversions as this would add more skepticism and other factors...but its a thought.

its the first thing i thought of and probably the direction i would start at first till i could think of another direction to go...

its not an easy task, but certainly do your research use google trends, keyword tool, check your competition, etc, etc see what terms people are typing in... if it does get big you certainly want to be at the top of the game when it does! :)
