I did this for a while when I was desperate for cash. I'd use my credit card and pay off the balance each month, keep the profit and start over!

1-Sign up as an affiliate with GoDaddy at CJ

2- Buy either a one year Ecomony Hosting Plan or a one year Deluxe Hosting Plan through your own affiliate link.

That's it. Take a look at the commissions paid for both the Economy and Deluxe one year plans and you'll see that they pay more in commission than the plan costs.

    Economy:
Costs: $56.88 Commission paid on each sale is: $65.00. A $8.12 profit.

    Deluxe:
Costs: $79.68 Commission paid on each sale is $105.00. A $25.32 profit.

These plans are what's known as loss-leaders for GoDaddy. Learn what a Loss-Leader is at:

I did this for a while, profited about $800 per month for 7 or 8 months. I was buying 20 Deluxe plans a month! I never tried hiding my a$$. Went directly through my affiliate link. Profit margins were higher until GoDaddy raised the prices on their hosting packages.

why would you do this on a larger scale and use a bot?

Probably could, but I have no idea how to make a bot. To do it on a larger scale, you need more $$$. I was maxing out my credit card each month, then paying it off when my check came in and starting over.

I've moved on to other things since then.

Sounds almost too easy! Were you buying them all at the same time or spacing the purchase time out? This is interesting...I have a credit card...lol

Wait...Okay. I clicked my own link and see that you can only buy one at a time. They're also set to be paid monthly - is that how you did them or is there a way to pay it all at once?

did your credit card company let you increase your limit since always paid it off?

Probably would of let me, but I never asked.

Were you buying them all at the same time or spacing the purchase time out?

    I was purchasing 2-3 plans a day for 10 days a month.

I clicked my own link and see that you can only buy one at a time.

You can only add one plan at a time into your cart at GoDaddy. Just add 2 or three plans before you checkout.

They're also set to be paid monthly - is that how you did them or is there a way to pay it all at once?

DO NOT BUY THE MONTHLY PLANS. You need to buy the one year plans. YUou'll pay for the entire year up front. After a couple of hours to a day, you'll see the commission in your CJ account. If you sign up to pay mothly, you'll only get something like 10% commission. The yearly plans pay the flat commissions I talked about in my first post.

One other note. I forgot to mention:

When you pay, pay through Paypal using your credit card. you'll have to set up a billing aggreement with GoDady through Paypal. Make sure you cancel that billing aggreement as soon as you have paid.

    WHY?

Because when the one year is up, all those hosting plans will try to automatically renew. Yo won't et commission for the renewals. If you cancel the billing aggrement, the will not be able to charge your credit card.

    ALTERNATE METHOD

If you don't have or don't want to use Paypal, buy a Gift Card to GoDaddy for yourself, just send it to one of your email addresses. Buy it for something like $500 and use it until there is no more money available on it. That way you will not have to worry about the hosting plans renewing.

Thanks for sharing this, just a couple quick questions...

    1) What made you stop?
    2) Did you ever have any non-paying transactions?

Did anyone try this with a coupon code like the 20% off one? I'm afraid to test it, because I think this will erase my commission because the purchase it will be assigned to another affiliate.

    Can anyone confirm this?

Good idea, btw, and thanks for posting this!

This is a cool method man.. might try it if I get paid from some other blackhat things I'm doing :D:D

OW, OW I have an idea!!

Why not selling them for like 25% the price? on here or somewhere else? Would make you even more money!!

well i went to checkout and it totaled £62 for the hosting and CJ comms is $105 so ~ £70 so yep if CJ pay out then it seems legit.

    Also i was thinking

    Buy a Godaddy Giftcard
Set up a Account - Buy hosting plan
    Get Commission
Sell the account with Hosting at DP for half the usual price
Take a nice bit of change from each one
