i ask for suggestions , thanks
Do you go to the gym? It always calms me down.
Or playing CoD helps if something is annoying me, let your rage out on the players rather than your friends.
But there's nothing better than letting it all out on a punch bag!
yes , i find it good to roam to calm down, thank you buddy, rep up.
Meditation. The best method to control your emotions.
Deep Inhalation and exhalation.
Drinking plenty of water.
Considering anger as a storm and letting it pass. Maybe count till 20 when you're red hot with anger. Anger will subside within minutes.
Focus on your thoughts. Just alter them. It's all about playing with your thoughts and that can happen if regularly meditate.
Visualize. Spend sometime daily visualizing how you would react to a situation when you're angry. Try to be calm. Try to control your anger. Gradually, this will be stored in your subconscious and you'll actually be calm rather than be angry.
Thanks, i am good for today.
If you have an apple product, I can refer you an app for that. Not just anger, even if I get stressed out, I take out my ipad and run that app and it works wonders...just 10 minute break and I am fresh
I know this probably won't help but as a younger man, I had a lot of rage and anger. I'd rag on and on about things that were so trivial. As I got older I guess I just realized that the anger will eat you up. It can have serious effects on your mental and physical health. I agree with the two above me, if you can get to a gym or just put on some music that is NOT full of rage and go for a walk, it might help. Try to step back when you're angry about something and just allow yourself to look at what you're angry about and try to ask yourself if it is truly something important. More often than not, it isn't.
Also, as corny as it sounds, this parable works and I am not religious
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference
Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.
When the anger is caused by someone else I can still hear the words of my granddaddy in my head to this day, He always told me "never let anyone else take up space in your head" I thought it was corny as hell when I was a kid, but today as a adult I live by that simple phrase and it always serves me well.
It may have been my father who told me this, I can't remember. "You always have a choice. Choose to be happy." Sometimes it's difficult. I like to think that stuff is just stuff. It won't matter next year and it probably won't even matter tomorrow. Someone made you angry? It's ok. They will die one day ^^
Depends on the person, I'm not a "meditation" type of person like mentioned above, I personally would go to the gym to workout or use a punching bag. Let all the anger/rage out. You should try out the best thing that works for you, also if you suck at games (COD like mentioned above) don't try it, it'll make you even more mad
I have always taken a good long walk to get ride of my anger.
I've spent most of my life disappointed which makes me unusually resistant to depression and anger. If you don't expect anything from anyone everything is just a pleasant surprise!
I always try to let out my anger when i feel
I just don't hide emotions, so i have no regrets
I think i would need to control anger too, but i am a cool guy most of the time and get angered only by real serious stuffs.
So, i don't care much about it
I try to count to ten but I always end up punching the wall
