Did you try using a private proxy with the location of the IP address near where the account is logged into from?

According to my modest testing the loop is caused by a sudden location change combined with botting.
I run some accounts on my desktop for a year, once i moved them to a vps 8000 miles away, i experienced the loop for the first time and i still can't login to them except in the VPS browser "after verification" or on my desktop.
Changing a user name of one account was a turnaround that worked for me..
On the same vps i can run freshly created account from my destktop with no issue.

Turkey falls to everyone on the mobile verification loop. The same as last year, no way even from the residential IP address is not entered.

Guys in my case I was able to debug this a little bit.

I think my account fell in a location verification loop because I am using a rotating IPv6 proxy which is NATed behind IPv4 and obviously this changes locations from US to Europe and so on. It may be rotating based on several info, so for example my GMT2 is picked up as US, while browser with FoxyProxy is France I think.

Anyhow changing my proxy to a static IG IPv4 one solved the problem.

In terms of using IG cookies, what is everyone's take on this? For me it's a bad idea because:

    • Session cookies are usually tied to a device/system.
    • Using them with another device (a bot emulates a phone for example) or browser -> not a good idea.
      • It means that the session cookies of the account have been hijacked/stolen/sold etc.
      • A normal user would never place their cookies to the device (technically super difficult, needs to be rooted etc) or the browser.
      • I think it's a big red flag!
    Thoughts?

There are many of us using IPv4 and having the same problem.

I am not sure but obviously there could be more than one reasons this happens.

Try to check the IP address and location you come out from from within the embedded browser perhaps. Try using the proxy in a Chrome browser and check also.

Again there may be many reasons behind this behaviour.

Got a potential fix for folks out there; not sure yet how long it will last, but:

    1. Run your bot on an AWS free-tier Windows machine.
    2. If you end up in the auth loop, assign a new ElasticIP to the instance.
    3. Profit.

As a note -- I only run 1 account with this bot, so I'm not dealing with proxies. If you are, similar results can be achieved with one additional micro EC2 instance in AWS (~$8/mo) and a VPC to support multiple public IPs (~$3/mo each) on that single instance.
