Hi everyone, I have a big problem....

We are working on our web site's optimization and ranking now on #3 on 2 keywords.
They 2 should have 300.000 searches each, but we get only 3 - 8 Visitis a day!

I thing that the bigest problem are 2 web sites that are on #1 and #2 ( Nextag and Amazon) with 500 - 600 similar products like ours.

What to do to top this 2 big guys?

Any Idea?

The only thing you could do is wait, it takes time to become a established website. Also backlinks!!

300,000 each doesnt sound right with the rest of the information given. if you dont have market samurai already, go to the download section and get it.... once you have it open and are looking up your keywords, make sure it is "exact" match. this should give you a decent idea on how well you should be doing.

also, google your keyword and see what title and description is showing in the results. make sure that everyything that is showing for your site in google is user friendly and entices google users to clickc on your link rather than the nextag or amazon.

for example:

"Product X --- Is all the hype true?
A detailed report on how Product X can change your life! Make sure you read this before buying"

i swear you have asked this question before

When researching keywords, always make sure to click the "exact search reuslts" not the broad search results

Yea, i would definitely re-check your keyword research... that number (300,000) just does not sound possible for your rankings.

You're probably getting a small amount of action because there arent' that many searches... recheck as mentioned above.

Yes I check it one more time....

There are exact 50.000 Searches and not 300.000...:(

are you sure its the thousands....and thats not 300 and 50?

Download market samurai...the keyword research module is free even after your trial expires, so use it. It's accurate, and easier to use (and more informative) than the google keyword tool.
