My hubpages profile is currently Google PR 2, which I thought was pretty decent considering how limited I am at optimizing my profile. For the most part I've only submitted my hubpages profile to VERY high PR directories (using directory critic I've picked out the PR 4+ directories and made good use of them) and commentluv blogs to bolster traffic. I've steadily gotten 30-40 hits per day on my articles and often far more per day on my profile.

What I want to know is how can I get my profile's PR to go up even more? I've been building high quality backlinks to the pages using niche commentluv blogs and directories (I've also been using social monkee on every hub I write and submitted them to social bookmarking sites as well as used twitter networks and facebook networks for shares/tweets). So I guess my "pyramid" would look like this:
    Hubpages Profile
    | __________________|
    Hubs----------Commentluv blogs
    | ____________________
    Social Monkee/Commentluv Blogs __________

I've been thinking of writing 500 word, unique articles for each hub I've created, spinning them (with spintax so I can throw in 30-35 variations of almost every word), and submitting them with Article Marketing robot and adding that into the tier 2 page backlinks, but I'm tapped out for the rest (and running out of commentluv blogs to post to). Any ideas?

Try adding more content as you mentioned and build some additional high PR links pointing to your Hub(s). Also, building your Social Signals would definitely help to, diversify your link building a bit and build incoming links from sites like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter will not only help to increase the authority of your Hubs(s) but will ultimately contribute towards increasing your PR.

I'll try creating some short ~30 second videos listing all the effects of ginger for my herbal medicine hub and see if that helps then :3 I do use things like YouLikeHits (and similar sites) to get my link shared and tweeted (and then retweeted) for extra impact :D
