    Hello Black Hat,

I'm a photographer in the travel lifestyle category, currently my account has 10.5k followers with around 500 pictures posted. I started doing Instagress likes and comments about 6 months ago and doubled the account like this. So most of my followers are authentic I'll say so myself. Also been doing advertising with Instagram themselves to reach a broader audience.

Currently averaging 270-300 new followers per week.

I take great care my content and my account is very dear to me. Now that Instagress is down I started a hunt for a replacement currently using a service that set ups campaigns for me but my engagement is decreasing rapidly so I want to take matters into my own again.

I read that Mass Planner is supposedly the best option and that search lead to this forum.

Is Mass Planner as safe as Instagress was?
What are the advantages vs disadvantages?
How much followers can I expect with only liking and commenting?
What was your strategy to grow past 10K?

    Will dearly appreciate your advice

All the bots are safe as long as you keep the settings mild and don't try to move too fast. If you're account is old than you shouldn't have anything to worry about. You will probably be able to grow your account faster using MP also since Instagresss was slow as shit on it's fast settings. No way to predict growth based on just liking (the accounts and tags you target are more important I think) but if you want to grow the account as fast as possible then you should be following. Since you are a photographer though and your content means a lot to you, I'd honestly focus on the content and use the bot as a secondary measure (tagging/submitting photos to accounts, possibly paying for promos, offering lightroom presets, ebooks, whatever..)

Absolutely! This has been my approach so far focus on creating quality content first and have the bot as a secondary source of followers.

I'll probably be jumping into MP sometime this month, using an agency right now (I think they are using MP anyway).

What would be a good source of knowledge in terms of speed? (Likes per hour, etc)

I remember Instagress had some information on the time intervals and I was runnng it on the fastest speed the settings allowed me.

If I were you, I would be focusing on posting more of your art, instead of looking for hacks & loopholes.
You can use tools/bots to automate boring tasks, that's what their initial purpose was.
But in the end, we are playing on a social media site; and social means people --> focus on your audience. Make sure they get something fresh on their plate, 3 times a day.
    :)

For sure! I wish I could upload at such cadence hehe. Doing every other day now and hopefully will upgrade to every day.

I've found that with good targeting and only doing likes + comments I'm able to bring people into my page. I don't necessarily have huge expectations other than double the account this year (20k) :)

Bro... think big and then think even bigger.
What's the point of doing something, if you could the same thing and make some really good money ;)
    It's just your mindset.

One idea for you, which I'm doing in a similar way, is to create a few accounts that currate the content that you are creating. Use those accounts to bot fast, scrape other big accounts images and re-post. Build the followings of those with the bot in the background and slowly filter your content through those accounts since they will probably grow a lot faster than yours (since you would run them more aggressively and also be posting others content more frequently). That should filter followers in from multiple accounts instead of just your one.
