You taken it wrong, Let me clear :- Building high PR backlinks on niche relevant blogs with good authority will helps for Moz DA. And you know, Seems OP already built as many links to increase Moz DA.. To make it in short " there is not exact number of high PR links to get high Moz DA..

Good god some of the rubbish spouted on this thread is shocking! And some of it by Jnr Members!
If the links are fairly low quality web 2.0 then DA 30 sounds about right.
I own a DA 50 and have natural links from the BBC, The Guardian Newspaper, my local NHS trust, local government and two Russel Group Universities / 1 top 50 university and 1 .ac.uk tech college (It's a UK Based site as you might have guessed). I guess what i'm trying to say is that to get 40+ you're gonna have to crank out more low quality links (And I mean LOTS!!!) or get a handful of epic ones.
Don't expect the number to rise overnight either, like someone else said it's run by a potato! I'd build more links and leave it for a week or two, go work on something different to take your mind off it.

I've worked in the same niche for 5-10 years and became an expert in it. A website that formerly was owned by the major company in my niche (The domain was launched in 1997) dropped because of take-overs and mergers (I think they just forgot about it tbh) and I picked it up.

I mean I know you want to sell your blog posts....but for fu#k sake no need to pump pure bs into peoples head - DA can be faked by blasting it with pure crap fiverr gigs - it is a MADE UP metric - has nothing to do with anything other then selling MOZ's $99 monthly service. It is also an imaginary number link sellers use to justify higher prices. DA and PA are useless. They can be manipulated so easily.
