How to get more members?

I've been using backlinking, commenting, also got a blast, and SB package. But im still looking for other ways to bring in members. I'm not sure if link exchange we be a could choice for me because I run a FB like exchange system?

Any pointers guys?

This is something I haven't tried. Is there any thing/syntax to search specifically for my keywords in google and only have forums show up?
