My listings seem to have hit a ceiling and views remain stegnant since I listed my products a few months ago. Apparently the best method to get more impressions is to list new items daily but I have to grow my inventory slowly and can't do that. Is there any other way I can improve impressions?

Right now 35% of my impressions are from Top 20 results (45% are from results 21 and later, 20% from sidebar). I guess I would like to reach Top 20 results more often as well.

My titles, descriptions, item specifics are all SEO optimized and I use high quality and plenty photos. So what else can I do?

My store is only a few months old and has 20 reviews so far if that matters.

Do I have to use paid promoted listings? Is that or driving my own traffic from other sources the only options?

Thanks for reading!

Regardless of what I am selling, or considering selling, I first look for trends. Find similar comps in Sold, starting with most recent. Look at what other sellers do with their pictures, the details, title, and description. Then sort through current listings as well.
What you consider a fair price based on your investment into the items, adjusted for fees and shipping costs, may not be a good price in the current online market.
Some people run auctions starting at break even starting bid, to test the market and build a reputation.
I've paid slightly more to purchase certain items from what I feel is a trusted seller over someone new(er) whose listings do not appear professional enough.

To increase impressions on your eBay listings without constantly adding new items, consider these strategies:

Optimize Existing Listings Further
Enhance Visual Appeal
Utilize Promoted Listings:
Opt for Store Subscriptions
Leverage Social Media
Encourage Customer Reviews
Participate in eBay Promotions

By implementing these strategies and continuously monitoring your performance, you can increase impressions and improve your chances of reaching the top results on eBay.

Leverage Social Media
on Etsy it was rumored that if you drive external traffic to your listing that the search algorithm will promote you less. Is there any known effect by external views on ebay listings?

Great tips, thanks you

Pay eBay to put them at the top!
Will that really be worth it? My products are very popular but on Etsy most products will only go about breakeven with paid promotion.

If the profit is there! Do it. eBay is pay to play! Keep updating your listings also it helps.

Maybe CTR manipulation would help? I didn't test it on ebay/Amazon or other marketplace listings but I heard it works on them too.
By ctr man I mean users who will go to eBay search for your keywords and click your listing and that way your ctr goes up.

Ok good to know! Do you know if there will be any additional screening of my products if I promote my listings? to check if they're safe for ebay promotions program for example.

I guess you can ask CHATGPT lol :)
Exactly :D I guess BHW has to roll out an anti-AI update too:)

I doubt that CTR would be effective on that website.
Interesting. I don't know ebay's algorithm good enough to say if higher CTR will make them list you higher.

I'm also unsure if promoting my ebay listings on social media is a good idea.

Yes do promoted listings to get on top of search products! Also add keywords such as similar brand names in titles to get organic search results. good luck.

Thanks, I will try it! Do you know if there will be any additional screening of my products if I start promoting my listings? Do they check if my products are safe for ebay promotions program for example.

Depends what your selling and how long youve been on ebay...i think you need some sort of history and positive buyer feedback.

Constant listing, some promotion, item specifics and title maxed out.

I will update my listings and add some new ones as well, I just can't list products constantly because I don't get new products all the time.

I'm waiting on being able to do ebay promotions. I have Above Standard rating but apparently I also have to wait but they don't tell me for how long.
