How to get links without a reciprocal

Ok, I'm not sure that this is really considered Black Hat but it sure isn't white hat...I used this method for a white hat site but it could be used for anything out there...

Sign up for hxxp://link*market.com , it is a recipricoal link program and start asking for link partners...it's pretty easy and the cost is prety low...Most of the people on this site use their link management program but you don't want to...You want to set up your own link pages and then in your robots.txt file make sure that you disallow the links page...

By doing this it looks like you have a lot of links coming from unrelated website and it doesn't show any links leaving your website...

I used to use that site alot about 2 years ago and then slowly forgot about it and let my membership run out but I never even thought about use a robots.txt, very sneaky and I might just use the site again.

But what I hate is all the "links pages" that they put your link on, it just looks tacky

Here's another method that I've been using for my proxy network.

Go to yahoo answers and do a search for your subject matter. Answer them with your url. Then, copy the URL of the question that has your answer in it and submit that page to Google. This way, you're "helping" Google to get your pages indexed. I believe you can answer up to 15 questions/day so that will get you at least 15 one way backlinks.

I just checked and links from Yahoo! answers are nofollow. Are you sure that they're helping your Google ranking?

remember that only google takes notice of nofollows tags. Yahoo and MSN dont, so the yahoo answers trick still works for them

Your first bet should be yahoo answer simply because, google perceive YA as an authority site and those pages are included in yahoo search results. You can get indexed in less than 24hrs. I've been using yahoo answer since Jan 2006 and I've got tremendous results.

Xrumer is another alternative that can make you thousands of links on the fly, I been indexed in less than 10 hrs every time I use the tool.

Yahoo answer can give you traffic, but not ranking in Google nor in MSN (MSN doesn't also take those nofollow links in count).

To have new easy links, you can try to spam demo's scripts, to find those demo scripts, search in hotscripts.com

An other thing about robots.txt, you can cloak robots.txt, just do a rewrite robots.php -> robots.txt and put your cloaking script inside.

There are a lot of ways to get backlinks without give a link, just cloak by referer and put a cookie for exemple or if your partner link use a exchange link program with a bot that check if you remain the link, get the ip of the bot and cloak it, if comes from this ip, then show the backlink...

Nice tips tiger.

For yahoo answers, it was used to be a good resource, but with increasing spam, they are taking tight measure to stop spam. My links are getting deleted each and every day so I now give it much lower preference. However it can still be a good indexing tool.
